Full Metal Panic

Summary
Second Lieutenant Sagara's newest assignment is to protect a Japanese high-school girl, Chidori Kaname.
To accomplish this task, he pretends to be a new transfer student attending Kaname's school.

As Sagara attempts to settle into his new role, a massive plot unfolds beginning with the kidnapping of Chidori. Why is Chidori the target of this conspiracy? Why does she seem to be born with knowledge of technology that has not yet been invented?

Chidori Kaname

Kaname is your ordinary high school girl and also the student vice-president of Jendai high school. She is also a target of some of the worlds secret agents.

Inaba Mizuki

She is the jealous girlfriend type and is mad at Kaname for supposedly stalking her boyfriend. Which isn't true Kaname because doesn't like the guy.

Kalinin

Known as one of the important members of the Tatha denaan crew. He has very high hopes for Sagura.

Kurtz Weber

A true playboy! He's the macho type of character and thinks hes all that but isn't. He is a member of Sagura's team

Richard Mardukas

the XO (Executive Officer) of the Tatha Denaan and is very protective of his caption "Tessa"

Mellisa Mao

The leader of Sagura's team also offers a lot of "fan service" in the series. She has a cocky attitude towards Tessa because she thinks that Tessa is weak.

Mikihara Ren

Secretary of the Student Body of Jendai High. also Kaname's friend. although you don't see a lot of her in the first installment of FMP, you will see her a lot more in the FMP Fumoffu series.

Sagara Sosuke

The serious military type personality. he has no concept of love or relationships Very OVER protective of Kaname and has issues with giving Kaname her space.

Testarossa Theresa

She is the Capitan of the Tatha Denann and also has a thing for Sagura. Mardukas doesn't like the thought of her liking Sagura. She is a nice person and cares about others.

Tokiwa Kyouko

Quite the shutter bug and is Kaname and Sagura's friend. she tries to make Kaname happy or just tries to lighten the mood of Kaname.

Review

I have to admit this anime is a great buy if you are looking for some action with mecha. It has some sick humor, but its really funny and very energetic to watch. The storyline dose get dull after a while its still a really good series.

Full Metal Panic is one of my all time favorite animes. It was originally suggested by a friend of mine, so i watched a few eps. and was completely hooked. Fantastic art, well animated, and great storyline. Loved it!

What's up with the rating in here and the rating that is shown in the anime and manga reviews forum? In here it says 93% but out there it says 46%.
