AVG
AVG is a nice antivirus proggy, gets the job done, and it's free. I highly recommend it to all Windows and Linux users you can download the free edition here there is no BS trials and crap. Also I've noticed it's quite light on the resources.
Ad-Aware
I'm sure this program needs no formal introduction to most of us. It's a nice adware/spyware remover. You can get it here also no BS trials with adaware.
Spybot
Another free spyware/adware remover. You can download it here.
If you guys got other free useful progs to keep your comp spy/adware and virus free post the URLs.

If you let your PC sit around on the internet, it will quickly accumulate cleans, which slow down your computer and could eventually render it unusable. Here are some tools to eliminate cleans and keep your system clean-free, guarenteed!
I was thinking the same thing, lol.
Obvious tools, but good stuff, nonetheless.
For anti-virus, I personally use AntiVir.

I don't even use an anti-virus... All I need is access to the registery, the recovery console, HijackThis, and Safe Mode, ![]()

Um, it's a good idea to use an anti-virus ANYWAY. If you missed something sneaking on, you'll get notified.

I agree.
OTOH, I don't see a point in running a virus scanner in Linux (unless you are going to pass the files over to your Windows side).

You can't get a virus from IRC unless you click a stupid link or download some stupid file and open it.
