I find it a little odd that ADV didn't pick this up. But I can't really complain about it. All I can do is hope they don't mess it up...

Funimation has been doing a better job recently, so this isn't terrible news. I'm just glad it's liscensed so I can finally see good versions of it.

So does this mean new voices? That just won't seem right, even if the dub isn't at its best.

Yes, they have gotten better. It's just I was hoping for ADV to pick it up.

Eww ADV blows! Funi kinda sucks too. Fansubs FTW! I will give ADV credit for their work on Gawl, but that's all.

From what I read it looks like the Chris Patton(Sousuke) and Luci Christian(Chidori) has worked on Funi ptojects before. So it's possible we'll see them used in the TSR dubb.

Yeah, I don't see Funi having too much trouble getting the dub cast we've grown to love back. They also want to maintain cannon. After 2 seasons of hearing the same english voices we've gotten use to them.

I don't really care much about dubbing myself, though I'm apparently the minority. I've just impressed that with atleast a few anime Funi has actually kept in the honorifics and hasn't changed the dialogue at all, almost to the point where it's almost a literal translation.
I was really pleasantly surprised by their work on FMA.

Funi apparently seems to be pretty good about that on subtitles as well, as I observed in Fruits Basket. The only other company that I know of that goes into such details is AnimEigo.

Ah, the good 'ol days when I used to deal with trolls this way...

Here is to hoping that the dub lovers get the same voice actors.
I normally watch subbed so it doesn't really bother me too much.
As others have said, Funi is alot better than it used to be so I am not too concerned either.
And then it happened... a door opened to a world... rushing through the phone line like heroin through an addict's veins,
an electronic pulse is sent out, a refuge from the day-to-day incompetencies is sought... a board is found.
