Full Metal Alchemist

Who's reading the FMA manga?
From what I've heard, the anime follows the same story as the manga, but there are a few changes that alter the whole storyline.
Some things like name changes, added characters, removed characters, etc
What other differences are there?

Re: Full Metal Alchemist

The anime follows the manga quite closely in the beginning, but after a while, it changes so much I'm sometimes wondering if the anime really is based on the manga @__@
Especially the timeline is messed up, unfortunately I only have 16 chapters, so I'm quite behind on the anime. So can I can't really say how it's now.

Re: Full Metal Alchemist

A quick check didn't tell me if the FMA manga is licensed or not. I hope it isn't, since if it is I'll have to take down this post.

Anyway, FYI, the vast majority of the available English scanslations for the manga can be conveniently downloaded here (except you have to register! sorry...):

The Unrivaled Source

It's how I caught up quickly on it. Happy reading!

Re: Full Metal Alchemist

As far as I know, the manga is not licensed yet (unfortunately)
