What is the longest series out there?

Well I think it's Doraemon, I think that's spelled right. Even though I haven't seen it it's aparently about some blue giant robot cat that trevels back in time to help this dude. And I hear the thing is over 2000 episodes. Anyone know any siries longer then that?

nah. i believe Sazae-san would hold the record since its been running since 1969.
I have no idea how many episodes it has but its waaaay over 2000
